Current Practice Location: West side of Cleveland, Ohio, mainly Bon Secours Mercy Health, University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, Mercy Allen, Specialty Hospital of Lorain, and University Hospital Avon Rehab Center. Dr. Sheth also has an outpatient practice in Lorain, Ohio.

Personal: I am a wife and the mother of two very animated young boys - ages 2 and 5. They are always listening to my hospital conversations and feel the need to interject their personal opinions during my patient calls. I love them to the moon and back.

Advice for a student aspiring to study medicine: Be teachable. Be grateful. Be kind. I am also a family person. It is VERY possible to find a healthy balance between home life and a solid career in medicine. Achieving that balance takes time and patience. It is important to take the time to take care of yourself: exercise, nourish yourselves, play hard, study hard, and every once in a while, stop, breathe, and re-evaluate the quality of your life. If it’s not working for you, don’t be afraid to change gears. This is not a failure. If you are overwhelmed, speak up, and seek help immediately.

The Senior Staff Accountant will support the Financial Controller to ensure �鶹��ƷAƬ��ѹۿ� Business Office functions are performed in an efficient and timely manner. The position will foster compliance with sound business practices and College policies, as well as federal and state regulations, in performing job duties to include financial reporting, analysis and other special projects as assigned. In execution of duties, the Senior Staff Accountant will ensure robust internal controls are maintained to preclude fraud, embezzlement, and other misuses of College assets, so as to conserve, preserve and safeguard College resources.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Required Qualifications:

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or other degree program along with comparable work experience.
Licensure or certification: N/A
Experience: Two or more years of experience working in an accounting or business office

Ability to perform detailed-oriented tasks with minimal errors
Strong analytical skills and ability to solve moderately difficult to difficult problems
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and strong customer service skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferences may be given to candidates who have the following skills or attributes:

CPA license candidate or Master of Accountancy degree are a plus
