The Admissions Coordinator will assist in all stages of the application process, from participating in off-campus and on-campus recruitment activities, to applicant interview days, and providing tours of Â鶹¾«Æ·AƬÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ and Auburn University campuses.  They will give presentations; process admissions applicant files; update applicant statuses in admissions software; maintain organized and confidential applicant information, and interface with other departments within Â鶹¾«Æ·AƬÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´. The Course Director for Clinical Medicine is responsible for building and promoting a positive academic learning environment for faculty and students by making assignments, reviewing content, and teaching within the Clinical Medicine Course.  The Course Director collaborates with administration, faculty, and staff to ensure that education is consistent across all campuses.

Salary Range:  $90,000 - $150,000

The primary duty of the Discipline Chair for Internal Medicine is the oversight of the Internal Medicine clinical education for Â鶹¾«Æ·AƬÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ students. This position is responsible for the oversight of the teaching and clinical experiences provided by the clinical faculty in Â鶹¾«Æ·AƬÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´â€™s core clinical sites who teach students in Internal Medicine (and where relevant, certain IM specialties).  Develops and annually updates the clinical curriculum and syllabi for the core rotations. The Senior Staff Accountant will support the Financial Controller to ensure Â鶹¾«Æ·AƬÃâ·Ñ¹Û¿´ Business Office functions are performed in an efficient and timely manner. The position will foster compliance with sound business practices and College policies, as well as federal and state regulations, in performing job duties to include financial reporting, analysis and other special projects as assigned. In execution of duties, the Senior Staff Accountant will ensure robust internal controls are maintained to preclude fraud, embezzlement, and other misuses of College assets, so as to conserve, preserve and safeguard College resources.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Working under the supervision of the Associate Dean of Simulation and Educational Technology, the full-time Simulation Center Coordinator performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department.  The coordinator will provide quality administrative support by displaying sound judgment, accuracy, diplomacy, confidentiality, and discretion.  The duties include maintaining purchase orders, department finances, inventory items, maintaining logistical support for research projects and sub-departmental surveys.  This positions assists the Associate Dean of Simulation and Educational Technology with the organizing ongoing research projects. This position coordinates the ultrasound program, including an elective course for fourth year osteopathic medical students.

A Standardized Patient (SP) is someone who is trained to portray a scripted medical scenario in a simulated clinical setting. They must accurately and consistently portray specific emotions, behaviors and disease symptoms while interacting with students during a simulated patient encounter. A standardized measuring tool is utilized following each encounter to assess the student in the Humanistic domain.
